Wednesday was interesting! Our first performance at Two Rivers School, over in Tamworth. No problem with that, but the curse of Moving on continues. This time Lesley copped for the plague - how she performed was beyond me. With a bucket in the wings, shaking from head to foot she stepped into the light. Plague or no plague Lesley did herself proud - as always a fine natural actress. OK the minute she came off stage she ran to the ladies room, but she finished her part - how brilliant was she. Well done Les.
As for the show it's self, I think it's fair to say we've had better nights, nothing wrong with our performances - I think the audience enjoyed it, it was just a little flat. Probably reflecting how all of us have been ill during this play! Really, It started with Mike who had to be replaced by Peter, Jo was next to suffer the plague, followed by Peter, Emma, David and now Les. I think Steve and Callum are the only members of our team no cursed by the Moving On plague.
